Sierra de las Nieves nature park (Parque Natural Sierra de las Nieves) is located in the heart of the region Serrania de Ronda the province of Malaga. This area is punctuated of deep ravines and spectacular cliffs such as La Caina with a drop of more than 100 metres. Furthermore there are many potholes in the limestone such as the G.E.S.M. which is 1,100 metes deep and the third deepest in the world. The relief is extremely rugged, with deep ravines and high cliffs. Since 1995 Sierra de las Nieves is a biosphere reserve of onesco.
